שמעתי מהרב הנ"ל שהלך לאה"ק ר' אליעזר מאמשטרדם בשביל ר' נחמן מהאראדענקא כי אמר כשנהיה אנחנו שנינו באה"ק נביא את הגואל. וכשבא לאה"ק הלכו כל בני העיר לקראתו. וכשראה את ר' שמשון בן ר' נחמן ושאל אותו היכן אביך אמר לו נסע לח"ל. אמר ווי ווי אני באתי בשבילו. וכששמע ר' נחמן שנסע ר' אליעזר לאה"ק רץ מהרה לאה"ק ועד שלא בא לאה"ק מת ר' אליעזר בעו"ה.
